SNELL Medical Communication is presently searching for a Montreal-based Project Manager.

PROJECT MANAGER

This position requires an individual with professional experience in medical communication/education who is capable of managing a wide range of educational programs for healthcare professionals as well as marketing support initiatives for biopharmaceutical companies. This role allows for a hybrid work environment (remote/office). Some travel may be required.

Working closely with an Account Director, the Project Manager is expected to have an established comprehension of health sciences, and the competence to interface directly with clients and medical thought leaders. With the support of internal and external resources, the Project Manager serves as the hub of a multi-disciplinary SNELL team that provides medical writing, logistics, creative, technical, and accounting support.

 

Requirements

  • University degree in a health science discipline or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of three years experience in medical communication/education

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral)

  • Ability to interact comfortably with clients and collaborating medical experts

  • Bilingualism (Eng/Fr, written and oral)

  • Creative, strategic thinking

  • Superior organizational habits and resourcefulness

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Capability to manage several projects simultaneously

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Flexibility to travel within Canada

  • Experience with ophthalmology is an asset

  • Knowledge of project management software (e.g. Asana) is an asset

  • Proficiency with document management platforms (e.g. Veeva, Datavision) is an asset

  • Project management certification is an asset

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participation in meetings with clients and medical thought leaders

  • Contribution to strategic and tactical project planning

  • Coordination of internal and external resources

  • Liaison with clients and medical thought leaders

  • Oversight of the successful completion of project deliverables

  • Management of project timelines and budgets

  • Submission of content (manuscripts, slide decks, abstracts, posters, supporting documents) to clients, journals, etc.,

  • Document management

JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

SNELL Medical Communication is presently searching for a Montreal-based Junior Graphic Designer

Are you a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for graphic design and an interest in health sciences? Join our dynamic team at SNELL, a leading medical communications company, and contribute your design skills to educate and inform healthcare professionals.

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will play an important role in helping translate scientific/medical information into visually engaging and impactful designs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Designers 

    • Take direction from lead graphic designers to bring projects to fruition

    • Assist in various stages of design concept, development and revisions

  • Collaborate with Content Teams

    • Work closely with content teams to understand the unique design requirements for each project 

    • Provide creative input and visual solutions

  • PowerPoint Presentations

    • Assist in creating and formatting visually compelling PowerPoint presentations

    • Ensure that formatting adheres to industry standards and brand guidelines

    • Apply internal quality control standards to all content

  • Illustrative Support

    • Redraw and enhance medical figures and graphics using Adobe Illustrator

  • Infographics

    • Create infographics that communicate complex medical information in clear, engaging visuals

  • Digital Design

    • Create digital assets for multimedia and graphics projects, including websites and apps 

Qualities and Skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Acrobat Pro

  • Expertise with PowerPoint

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple design projects/deadlines simultaneously

  • Willingness to adapt and learn

  • Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts with diverse stakeholders

  • Experience in the medical field is a significant asset

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant graphic design work experience and a project portfolio

  • Bilingualism (Eng/Fr, written and oral)

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment: home and Montreal-based office (on occasion)

Senior Medical Writer:

Health Economics & Outcomes Research/Real-World Evidence

SNELL Medical Communication is currently searching for a skilled and talented HEOR/RWE medical writer to join its dynamic team of writing and communications professionals. This position allows for the selected medical writer to work remotely.

The preferred candidate will:

  • Possess a PhD in a health science discipline and have a minimum of 5-years’ experience as a full-time HEOR/RWE medical writer preparing manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and other related materials.

  • Be fully competent at gathering, organizing, interpreting, and evaluating complex data/information for publication in peer-reviewed outlets.

  • Have an exceptional skill to effectively identify and communicate the relevance and value of HEOR/RWE methods and data to payors, HCPs and patients for optimal decision-making.

  • Have the ability to confidently engage with clients regarding data interpretation and strategic positioning.

  • Be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively, as an integral member of the HEOR/RWE team.

This position is supported by a Content Supervisor/Editor, Data Analyst, and Project Manager. Deferential consideration will be given to those who are CMPP certified.
